Accessibility statement

Last updated: 3 November 2026

We want the Dama Bianca residence website to be usable by everyone, including people who use assistive technologies such as screen readers or a keyboard only. This page describes the accessibility status of the website damabiancaresidence.it, including the request form, short stay booking and the student private area.

Reference standards

The reference is the European standard EN 301 549, which refers to the WCAG 2.1 Guidelines at level AA, as required by d.lgs. 82/2022 implementing Directive (EU) 2019/882 on the accessibility requirements for products and services.

Compliance status

The website is partially compliant. It was designed following the guidelines and checked by the technical supplier, but a full check by an independent body has not yet been carried out.

What we have done

  • The website works with a keyboard only: focus is always visible and at the top of every page there is a link to skip to the content.
  • Images have alternative text. Purely decorative images are ignored by screen readers.
  • Form fields have a label and error messages are linked to the field they refer to.
  • Animations turn off if the «reduce motion» option is active on your device. All content stays visible even without JavaScript.
  • Every page declares its language. The website is available in Italian, English and Spanish.

Known limitations

  • Some PDF documents, for example the residence conditions, may not be fully accessible. If you need them in another format, write to us and we will send them to you.
  • The OpenStreetMap map is third-party content. The address and directions are also available as text on the «Location» page.
  • Online payment takes place on the Stripe page, which follows its own accessibility policy.
  • For the legal texts (privacy notice, cookies, terms) the Italian version prevails.

Report a problem

If you find an accessibility problem or cannot use a service, write to studentatodamabianca@gmail.com stating the page and what does not work. We reply within 30 days and, if needed, offer you another way to get the same information or the same service.

Supervisory authority

If you get no reply or the reply is not satisfactory, you can contact the Agenzia per l'Italia Digitale (AgID), the supervisory authority for the accessibility of services, at www.agid.gov.it.
